History

In 2003, the founders of Born Builders entered the real estate market. In many cities the real estate market was booming and property development was on the rise. Born Builders began its involvement in constrution and rehabilitation. After completing three homes and many rehabilitations the real estate market began to crash. Cities were hit hard by foreclosures, property abandonment, and high unemployment. After working with several cities to assist in remediating the blight left by the mortgage crisis, Born Builders partnered with N.R.C.S. The two companies joined forces with a shared goal to affect not just the devastation of home foreclosure and abandonment in cities, but also the unemployment that was prevalent in the communities most impacted by the crisis. By encouraging pride in our communities and offering advanced skills training we can readily achieve these objectives.

N.R.C.S Training Includes:

• Operation of heavy equipment for excavation and demolition. Front end loaders, skid steers and excavators
• Masonry. Slabs, pavement, bricks, asphalt, basement, etc.
• Carpentry. Framing, doors, windows cabinet hanging, finishing trim, baseboard, crown molding, etc.
• Plumbing. Bathrooms, kitchens, pipes, drains, sewer taps, etc.
• Electrial. Wiring, lighting, solar systems, security systems, etc.
• Painting. Interior and exterior
• Dry wall/sheet rock installation
• Carpet. Laying, cleaning repairing, etc.
• Roofing. Shingles, repairs, paper, etc.

The goal of N.R.C.S and Born Builders is to provide skills and opportunity to members of the community. Through motivation and empowerment we can foster a positive outcome and personal growth for individuals, families, and the communities in which they live.
